The stone is legible, however it's a matter of much it has sunk. Not sure if it would do any good, but you could contact the Veterans Administration as they are the ones that now maintain the cemetery.

Always a pleasure to help others out. Machpelah was a very nice cemetery and we met a great caretaker there. Good experience all around. :) Patti

Your most welcome... Thank you also.

I went ahead and created a memorial for her and added a photo. If she is not related to your Bergs, maybe it will help someone else in their quest for relatives.

Hello. When I get home today I am going to fulfill your request for the Bergs at Pacific Crest (I can't do it from my work computer). I saw another Berg close by, and wondered if she is related. Rose Berg (1927-1972).

Grave location is Section D Lot 60 Space 5. I'll get photos ASAP.

You are very welcome. Actually I took it last year and have just gotten the time to download all of the Maiden Rock Cemetery photos.
