Bio and Links
Bio Photo We are David & Effie. We were born and raised in upstate South Carolina. I found Find A Grave in 2009 and now David has joined me in a search for our "lost" family members. We sincerely hope that along the way our contributions to this site will help others find theirs.

We wish to thank those who have made memorials for our family members and those who have transfered management of them to us. We especially want to thank those who have made the corrections we requested, as correct and complete data is the key to accomplishing our goals.

Our primary sources of information for our memorials, other than direct knowledge of burial, are grave marker photos and obituaries. We use these sources as backup for our entries, as we DO NOT make any without proof of burial location.

Our motto is... to err is human, and to correct is necessary. Please contact us if you find an error on our memorials or if you have missing information that we can add to make an appealing and honorable memorial. We will gladly correct any errors on our entries, make additions, add links or transfer memorials if they are not related to us. (please use the EDIT tab and make a suggestion option on the memorial for any request.)

We understand that a photo says more than a thousand words, and is a very important part of family research. It is our pleasure to offer our photos for personal genealogical purposes. You may re-post on Find A Grave if you will have the courtesy to give us credit in the caption of the photo. Otherwise, DO NOT RE-POST!

Everyone is welcome to visit and leave a flower for our immediate family members listed below or any of our memorials and once again, we wish to thank all of our Find A Grave friends who have done a wonderful job in helping preserve our heritage and making this a wonderful site.

Old Bethel Cemetary
Hey David and Effie, is the cemetary where Niles Nesbitt is buried considered the same cemetary that Nimrod Nesbitt is buried in. I know that one is on one side of the railroad track and the other cemetary is on the other side.

Is the cemetary where Niles' is buried only whites buried there or could there possibly be any blacks of mulattos buried there?

William Paul Boling
Thanks. I don't think he is one of "my" Bolings (also with Banks/Hall County GA roots), but I thank you for linking his memorial to others of his family. ~~Carol

Karyn Buckner Garvin
your photo lifted and used on a memorial
your church photo for Griffin Baptist Church was uploaded by a contributor to this memorial as their own photo:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSsr=41&GSmpid=47595011&GRid=119379166&

Don't know why they did that, there's no need and it violates several Find A Grave rules too.

thanks, Karyn

Harris Melvin Hart I
Hello from Orlando Florida!
I believe I am related to one of you through Harris Hart. He is my Maternal Gr. Grandfather. :)
Would love to hop a train up to South Carolina and visit his grave. Could you possibly show me around your beautiful area; if you live close to the memorial park where he is buried? I have never been to SC. I was raised in San Diego and that is where my Mother, Linda Lou Hart, was residing in the 1960's when I was born (1964) and when her Grandpa Hart passed.
Please reply and best regards,
Shoshana

I was wondering what the Adm in front of Martha Adeline Seay name stands for. I thought it was for Admiral, but I don't think that is it. I look forward to your reply.
