Interment: White Oak Cemetery in Webster Co., KY
Mr. William "Bill" Young, 65, of Madisonville, KY and formerly of Wheatcroft, KY died at 3:55 P.M. Saturday, February 28, 2004 at his home.
Born May 5, 1938 in Wheatcroft, KY he was the son of the late Sidney Young and Gertie Dunbar Young.
He retired in 1995 as a Deputy Sheriff from the Webster Co. Sheriff's Department. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Young of Madisonville; one daughter, Michelle Collins of Madisonville; three sons, Robert Young of Antioch, IL, Jamie Messamore of Greenville, KY and Jeremy Messamore of Madisonville; one sister, Dorothy Beach of Wheatcroft; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Walter South, Chaplain, Madisonville Fire Department officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Cemetery in Webster County, KY where there will be graveside military rites performed by V.F.W. Post 5480, American Legion Post #2 and American Legion Post #6. Pallbearers will be Jamie Messamore, Jeremy Messamore, Rick Collins, DeWayne Bean, Scotty Bone and Martin Grenier.
Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday and on Tuesday after 8:00 A.M. until the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may take the form of donations to the Bill Young Memorial Fund,@ Fifth Third Bank, 1389 Whittington Dr. Madisonville, KY.

Sara, Thank you for the transfer of Eddie's memorial. I have added his birth location and his obits from 2 different papers. I am so sorry for your loss. May God give you peace and heal your broken heart. The loss of a parent never heals but the pain gets farther away as time passes.

Alma Lynn, 89 of Providence died Friday, September 7 at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree.
She is survived by two sons, Robert E. Lynn of Providence and Jerry R. Prow of Ohio; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 at White Oak Cemetery in Webster County.
Melton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
