Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for several years. I started with the handwritten family sheets my grandmother started . Those were passed on to me and the computer age changed how I search and log my family history. My biggest "ah ha" moment in genealogy came while my father was alive and I shared his family history with him, he had never thought about his ancestors. He got so excited to visit an old cemetery where many of his ancestors rest and it was only about 2 hours from where he was living. I enjoy sharing what I've uncovered with others. I love Find A Grave. My other interests include scuba diving, my family, wine tasting and traveling.

young family tree
Hi! Just happened across you link to a Young family tree. Are you related to them? If you are then we are related. Joseph David was my father. I left a message of sister's page. Her birthdate and passing date are the same. 20 Jan. 1959. She would have been my older sister.

Hendersons at Reisel Cemetery
Thanks so much for the photos you took and posted. It's been several years since my request and I had just given up on them. I was even told they weren't buried there and I thought I had mistakenly entered their burials at Reisel. Your time is much appreciated!

Nina Kate Brablett
Hi,

I added a note to the bio for Nina Kate Brablett today to explain about the confusion about her resting place. Thank you for your help.
Happy New Year!

RE: Nina Kate Roper Bramblett
Well, if you find anything that we can be sure about on this please let me know. If my information is wrong, I will be glad to remove it and if she's your relative, I will transfer her to you so you can move her to the other cemetery if we can prove what is correct. I would like to leave it if Friendship until we find out for sure where she belongs if that is okay with you. I'm in TX so I can't drive by ad check on this. Are you close enough to check?
Thanks,

Nina Kate Roper Bramblett
Hi Iggycp,

You wrote: "Obit for Nina Kate Roper Bramblett (8/4/2009) states that internment was @ Sawnee View Mem. Gardens in Cumming, Forsyth, GA. Note listed @ Friendship cem. that she is there w/ no marker and no death date. Thought you'd like the obit information to correct the entry. thank you"

I am not sure what to do about this memorial. It came from a lady who walked the cemetery and used the cemetery records to transcribe the burial records. Then she kindly gave me permission to create memorials on Find A Grave using her records. I have heard that sometimes the obit will say one cemetery but that the family sometimes makes other arrangements after the obit has been published. I wonder if that is the case here? What do you think? The note says she is the wife of Joe P. Bramblett and there is a Joe P. Bramblett buried in Friendship. Do you think she may have been buried somewhere besides where her husband is buried?
Thanks for any ideas you may have about this.
