Hello! Thanks for visiting me here on findagrave. I'm pretty new to genealogy, but I have found this site useful in doing research. I have access to several local cemeteries, which I visit on occasion. **I will try my best to fulfill requests if I am near one you need. I'm also willing to go to the local library and look up the occasional obituary. It has Galesburg and many surrounding towns indexed for easy lookup starting at about 1916 or so. Also, when I do make it to a cemetery, I tend to take pictures of stones that have a last name I'm looking for, but if they are no relation to me I'm happy to transfer the memorial to you if you are a relative. I have a few different family trees I am working on for close friends, so not every memorial I have is direct relation to me. Feel free to send me a request for information and I will do what I can to help out. Happy Hunting. | |

 | Dr Cyrus Harvey Smith Re Abingdon Cemetery - there is a duplicate memorial for this gentleman - if you would transfer your photo to the other memorial, I will delete mine since the other has more info. Please let me know when you have done this and I will delete the memorial. Appreciate your help. Jim | | | paula church

 | Bainter Cemetery Hello Stephany: I'm the one who left the problem message on your request for Bainter Cemetery - after diligent searching, I found it. I also looked at it on the county auditor's website. Even tho' it's amid private farm land, there is a cemetery-owned direct lane back to the cemetery. When I'm on that side of the river I'll see what I can get for you there. It may be a while - due to illness, I cannot go outdoors in excessive heat situations. I'll get you sooner or later. Just finding the cemetery was a triumph! GPS: 40.0933N 081.989W, North River Road between Miller Farms of Dresden and Mollies Rock Road in Madison Township. If you go to www.mapper.acme.com you can do a search with coordinates and look at it on satellite or on an old topographical map, etc. DianneAdded by Dianne on Aug 13, 2010 8:22 PM | | | David & Carolyn (Mount) Plank

 | Picture for Alex Jones Stephany -
Thank you so very much for the picture of Alex Jones' headstone. And to do so in such hot weather is an extra special thank you. Alex is a gr gr uncle and it has been a little difficult to find out much about this Jones family. But you've given me one more thing.
Again, thank you so much, Stephany.

 | Izer/Hammond Stephany,
I am related to the Izers through Donna Izer Hammonds father, Charles Emmitt Izer. I am actually related through Charles Emmitt Izer's mother Susan Catherine Decker Izer. I have much on the family and would love to share info with you. I have many pictures as well including ones of Charles' parents, John and Susan Decker Izer. Looking forward to hearing from you.
