I am a US government mathematician living in York, PA and working near Baltimore, MD. I am married with five children. |
I do genealogy as a hobby. My father's family is split between Russian and New York City Jews (Abramson, Tow), the southern US, especially Georgia (Gardner, Beall, Taylor) and Key West Florida (Gardner), and the island of Abaco in the Bahamas (Thompson). My mother is a descendant entirely of Mormon pioneers that crossed the plains to settle in Utah (Sweat, Mecham, Hoover, Lee, Baum, Sessions, Grant, Williams, Parry, Cox, Sidwell)

I filled your request today for grave photos of the Tows. I just wanted to make sure you saw that they shared a family stone with an Israel and Ida Hecht. I posted those photos also.
I don't know if you read Hebrew, so here are translations of the women's Hebrew names:
Ida Hecht is "Chaya, daughter of Ephraim" and Estelle Tow is Esther, daughter of Ephraim." Ida and Estelle are probably sisters.
I guess while I'm at it, Louis Tow is "Lieb, son of Eliezer" and Israel is "Yisrael, son of Ya'akov."
You may want to make an edit recommendation to the person who set up the Hecht memorials. He has a policy of only accepting 40 edits per user per week, and I think I'm over quota.
All the best,

Sure. Just give me your Find A Grave# and I will transfer.
Do you have the obit? If so you will be able to add it once I transfer
|Haberuvi||RE: Florence Abramson|
Your photo request for Florence Abramson is fulfilled. You might note some spots on the marker - the sleet had just started coming down heavily. If I get to Mount Comfort on another (dry!) day, I'll try to get a better photo.
