I am an old/abandoned cemetery buff. I've traced back majority of my grandmothers Brush roots in Huntington, NY going back to the early 1700's. I especially like to explore and search for abandoned cemeteries. To date I have taken/compiled over 150 Brush family stones in Suffolk County, NY. |
On top of this I have now extended my family tree to all sides of my family. I have over 1200 distant relatives listed on my ancestry.com family tree. I will gladly assist anyone who would like help on family research.
I am off weekends (I work for the State of New York), so I could definitely search and photograph stone requests. I prefer older cemeteries/stones (pre-1850) because I think they are more personalized then the newer stone types.
I recently moved from City Island, Bronx, NY to Baldwinsville, NY. I cover many counties with my job, and I am interested in exploring Central New York.

|Marilyn Weakley||Hi again!!|
I did notice that you were close to Westchester. I have had some requests online for Westchester for a long time. There are very few people taking garve photos there. FloralDesigner has taken a lot of photos for me but, she seemd to be fed up with Westchester. If you can make it to St Joseph's (esp-but among others) I have a lot of requests for there (most of may ancestors seem to be buried there). There are also alot or requests for others. I do not know how many people are buried there but even if you went around taking many photo and either putting them online or sending me a disk with them on it, I would upload them onto the www.findagrave.com website (as time allows). I'm sure there would be a lot more people than just my requests because a good amount of the obituaries that I have found online, do not state where thery we buried or are listed as "family plot".
|Marilyn Weakley||RE: Mary E. Baxter - Pelham Cemetery|
Please disregard the Mary Baxter photo request. I have deleated some people from my family tree (on acestry.com) and several photo requests for www.findagrave.com. She must have been one of them because I can no longer find her in my tree nor in the listof my photo requests. Thanks for the effort anyway.

Nellie Duffy is his wife, not sure about William Breen yet, doing some research on that one

Thanks so much for answering my inquiry and for all the work you are doing.
|mina||RE: New Rochelle-Israel Secord Cemetery|
Thank you for all your photos so far taken at the cemetery, and I would appreciate if when you do have time the names of the people I am missing. I am using the information that I have from reseaching my family tree and the information that was written up by the New Rochelle DAR Chapter in the late 30's, so there I am sure there are names missing. Thank you again for all your help.

Have you ever photographed this cemetery?
looking for Barnes and Mullineaux Family Stones.
Also wondering if there are any Barnes or Mullineaux in the " Pelham Cemetary" on City Island.
|Donald Martell||Jotham Willson|
Thank you for searching for Jotham's stone. You are probably right that the stone has disintrigrated. I will remove the request now.
Thanks -- Don M.
Thanks so very much for this photo of my Great Great Grandfather's memorial. His birth year was 1829

|GLENN||HOSEY GRAVE IN L.I.N.C.|
I got the picture you requested for Christopher Hosey in L.I.N.C. He's buried with his wife Lillian. I've also added a picture to her existing memorial.
Have a good one...
