Please transfer these memorial pages to me in order that I may complete the biographical information to them. This is my grandfather's family and I have the proper info in my Family Tree.

JOHN FRANKLIN HODGKINS
Funeral services for John Franklin Hodgkins were held Saturday, Rev.Homer Nelson officiating. Mr. Hodgkins died on July 8, after an illness of but a few weeks. He spent the winter with his son, Orin Hodgkins of Addison and in April returned to Bar Harbor where he had been critically ill at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edwin Mitchell. Mr. Hodgkins was born in Lamoine, May 10, 75 years ago. He came to Bar Harbor several years ago and was a carpenter until the time off ailing health a few years ago, when he gave up work.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Luhama Bunker Hodgkins, a son, Orin A. of Addison and a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Mitchell of Bar Harbor. There are also several grandchildren. He leaves also a niece, Mrs. Geneva Woodworth, who assisted in caring for him during his illness; a sister, Mrs. Dyer Young (Lovica); brother, George Curtis Hodgkins.

okay. I put the Hull name with her maiden name. So now it should come up if someone is looking for Joyce Davis. Helen
|Theron & Helen Smith||Joyce|
Thanks for the information. Is her maiden name spelled with a capital "R" or a small "r"? In her obit it is capitalized. But on her parents it is with a small 'r'. Her first husband's name appears in the obit like this "Joyce (Hull), age, passed away..." I don't know how to add it to the top of the page unless it was a hyphenated name.
(Hull-Davis), which I don't think it was. I did that to my grandmother's memorial, and someone told me it was the wrong way to do it. Because someone looking for her would have to KNOW that it was "Hull", not "Davis". Her memorial would NOT come up if you searched for "Joyce Davis"
What do you think? I linked her to her first husband and to her parents. Helen

Good Morning Bruce,
I'm glad I could help. I am not connected. I try to fill in obits and history in the area cemeteries. I went to Markham last summer to search out a person I had information on but no grave memorial. I found many of the Markham graves had not been photographed. It was raining that day so I could not do all. Intended to go back later but by the time I got there another person had photographed them. So I have been still researching and adding obits and histories.
I have done some research in this area for another Hart and was glad to find this on Lillian and her family. You might be connected to them.
As for the Bath School Bombing. I am very aware of it as my cousins attended the Bath School in the 50's and 60's and knew the history well. Several people in my area survived the bombing. I have all the books including the original one.

I couldn't even tell toy where or how I found it.....just a lot of research. Contact the creator oh his memorial "Mojo Warren" she will transfer him to you.
I really appreciate the fact that you have added this stone to Anna Narramore Braman's memorial.
The problem is that this is actually the headstone for her grandson, Stephen and Anna Hawes Braman Memorial-- numbers 7095514 and 27935594.
