You are welcome! I, too, am in Michigan (Lansing), but took a road trip to that area to see my ancestors' graves. While heading to Mansfield, we went by this small, quaint cemetery on a corner...in the middle of nowhere...surrounded by corn fields. It is VERY small...I had to stop:). So I pulled up Find A Grave to see if there were requests and VOILA:) I'm happy to help when I am able to! Now I'm back in MI :) it's just gorgeous in the farmlands of Richland County..didn't want to cone home!

I wanted to let you know I did take a picture of the headstone I truly believe belongs to John. It is SO sad that these stones are just left to be fallen over with the earth growing over them :(
I am guessing the reason why there nobody "fulfilled" your request is because John's headstone isn't able to be read AT ALL. One really couldn't say 100% for sure that it belongs to him, HOWEVER, it is directly next to Catherine's. The other side of Catherine is a GATES (I think that was it?) so I would have to assume, reasonably, that her husband would be next to her. Catherine's is getting difficult to read, but I was able to make out DEARDORFF and JOHN (wife of)....so I knew I had, at least, the assumed correct location :) No stone existed on the other side of John. If you go to Catherine's page here, you should see how the stones are together against the ground. John's is on the far right! Sorry I wasn't able to get a legible stone for you! ---Carrie

Not a problem. I wish I could have had better results for you.

I searched the entire cemetery this morning and I was not able to find Elizabeth or John Peeper.
There were many old stones that I was unable to read due to the weather wearing away the information over the years.
