|Bio and Links|
A native of Washington, DC, I have a PhD in Romance Languages from Princeton University (whose mascot is the tiger). I wrote my dissertation on Andre Breton. France is my second home and I often travel there. French cemeteries are very different from American ones. I have traveled to every continent (even Antarctica) except Australia. I enjoy visiting cemeteries and paying homage to the great souls who have made life beautiful.|
I began by writing "famous bios" for Find A Grave while recuperating from a broken foot. Then I added memorials of my parents and parents-in-law. This opened the gates to an amazing set of new friends from around the world who have visited my family's sites and given me the opportunity of honoring their dear ones. The kindness, caring, generosity and concern of Find A Grave members have been extraordinary. I am especially grateful to Edda Meinikat for so generously sponsoring my mother's memorial as well as my mother-in-law's site. Three such lovely women would certainly have been friends had they known each other on Earth. I am also thankful for the friendship of Janet, the "Cape Codder," for sponsoring the memorials of my father John Stanford Stultz and a special member of my husband's family, Sister Mary Roddenbery. My favorite Find A Grave "cousin", Alice Morton, kindly sponsored my dear father-in-law, Thaddeus Roddenbery. Then Reilly, my friend in Ireland, sponsored the site of my Irish great-grandfather. The circle of kindness spread even wider when Seagull sponsored my Aunt Indie Gutman on the eve of her 109th birthday. The depth and breadth of my gratitude have grown ever deeper and wider.

Julia, you are most welcome. It's always nice on these tough anniversaries to know that we are not alone in this world, that people do care and just how nice it feels when you find tokens left for our loved ones. Eternity

I noticed you didn't take me with you on your trip. I am green with envy..Hopefully one of these days I will make the trip. The only problem is, I don't like to fly. I was also late on remembering your Dad and Dad-in-law. I had them on my list but this was a trying week-end.
I am sure you enjoyed your trip. I would love to hear about it. My son Damon spend a month in
Germany and the Czech Republic last summer after going to a concert outside Paris. He really enjoyed it but he loves Europe.
Take care and thanks for remembering Edmund.
Your Cuz, Alice

Dear AKA Princeton Tigress,
Thank you for your flower / token on my dads memorial.
I see your doing so many things well. Yes it is a normalcy. Do you add the Title of Mrs. to the married Ladies too? A lot forget that as it was /is so very important to the ones which were/are married.
