Oops, Clara. Melrose or Porter Rd Cemetery is where Anna Christian Brown is buried...it seems the names are being changed on some of the Cayuga Cemeteries. | Christian family Headstones and history
Yes, Clara, I agree about transferring Find A Grave sites to family. The Christian family members buried at Melrose Cemetery are managed by "Butterfly-Kisses" do not know if this person would transfer to me or not?
Anna Christian Brown is buried in the Howard Family Cemetery in Cayuga County. I do have a photo posted of her stone. I pray her stone has not been vandalized. It is sad teens through the years have destroyed headstones.
Thank you for recording the stones and histories of these out of the way and poorly maintained cemeteries. It is appreciated by those of us researching genealogy. And, who love cemeteries!

| Melrose Cemetery
Hello Clara, I see you have added headstone photos for the Christian family buried in Melrose Cemetery. My great great grandmother is Anna Christian Brown wife of Charles Brown of Owasco, Cayuga County, NY. By any chance did you see or take a photograph of headstone for Anna, wife of Charles Brown. I have one photograph from a cousin, now deceased, that she took in the 1960s-70s, before digital cameras.
I was hoping you might have a better photo.
Her name is Ann/a Christian Brown born 1782 and died 1844. She is daughter of John Christian, Sr and Ruth Brower and sister of John Christian who married Ruth Sweet. I live in California.
Thank you for posting photos of the Christian family graves in Cayuga County.
