Bio and Links
Bio Photo October 5, 2013:I am currently experiencing a lot going on in my family life right now. We have a new Grandson born Sept. 15th with Congenital Heart Defects. He had Open Heart Surgery this past week and will spend 6 to 9 months in the hospital. Given that situation I may be a bit slow to respond to requests for updates to the memorials that I manage here. I ask for your patience during this time in our lives and know that as soon as time permits I will post the updates that you send to me. Thanks so much for your understanding!

Welcome to my profile! As of 20 April, 2013 I am working on updating all of my memorials and just trying to make then look neater and contain a bit more information than what I have in the past. It is my desire to post accurate sourced information.

Out of all the memorials I have posted every single solitary one is related to either me or my husband in some fashion, with the exception of one who was a dear family friend.

I am not in the habit of "harvesting names" or "collecting memorials" just to play a number game. I have been working on my own family tree since 1983 and have learned a lot along the way. It is my desire to share what I have found about my family members regardless of how distant they are. Family is family and generations and distance from me does not matter. Roots run deep. If I do not keep their memories alive, who will?

Thank you for all the support I have gotten in the past and Happy Hunting!

RE: Charles Frank SMITH-Update
Gwen, Sorry for the delay in responding. I'm having problems with internet connection, so seeing messages has been slow. Thank you for the information and your wonderful enthusiasm. As I recall, Charles Smith's death certificate showed that he had been both widowed and divorced, which raised curious red flags for me. Glad to see you solved some of the mystery of his second wife. Keep me posted.

RE: Charles Frank SMITH-Update
Hello again! I'd love to have additional info on Charles Smith and his second wife Donia. I've been having some internet connection problems, but go ahead and email with attached scans and I'll eventually get them. Then I'll update my the FindAGrave page for Charles. I'm very happy to know you're still working on our family tree. You're such a blessing! Thank you,

RE: Tinker clan
The Edward/Polly marriage records shows his name as Edward Jr. One place on ancestry had first name as Abraham. Do you have any info on full names for Edward and/or Abraham?

RE: Carter Wilkey Jr
I had his father as Carter Wilkey b 1797. However, I based this on Carter and Artemissa's marriage certificate listing Carter as Carter Wilkey Jr. I have not been able to corroborate this link as yet. This is why I was contacting you. I am not positive that this is correct and thought if you had some proof of your research, then I could correct my own. Same as you, I am always willing to correct my errors with the proof that I made an error. My email address is

Carter Wilkey Jr
First let me say that I sincerely hope for the best for your family and your new grandson.
The reason for this message is the father of Carter Wilkey Jr. I noticed that you state you are not a "name collector" and that accuracy is important to you. Ditto. I would like to know on what proof do you base the paternity of Carter? I would like to make sure I have my own information listed correctly as I am a direct Wilkey descended from Carter's son Edmond. I like to help others and certainly do not want to give them information that is incorrect. If you could please compare notes with me, your help would be much appreciated.

Click Family
Hello. I saw on another page you had asked a person how you might relate to them because one of your ancestors was a Click. So now I'm wondering how you may relate to me thru the clicks. I am from the Clicks who settled in Dent County Missouri
