I have been researching my family tree since I was a teenager. I have just recently gotten info on older ancestors that have stumped me for a while.

Thanks goodness for other members of the genealogy community who are helpful.

I would like to become a professional genealogist.

RE: William Newton Rice # 19004023
I found a lot of the information on this family in "Kentucky's Green County Connections" by Joyce Peace Kessler, page 264. Once the online records run out it is nice to come across a book like this.

I live in south Florida.

Regards, Cousin Diane

John P Rice # 67041649
Hi Sandra
I am sorry but I am unable to find the children of John P. Rice. and wife Catherine . I did notice someone had linked incorrectly a William to the lineup somewhere but I fixed that.

If you find this is your connection, let me know and I will be glad to transfer to you.
Wish I could be of better help.
Vickie ;(

Barney Manning
Hello Sandra, my Grandmother, Sarah Nancy (Manning) Knowles was one of the two older sisters of Lon Bondurant's first wife Maggie Manning. All members of our family had great respect for Lon and he often visited them. I also remember his daughter Evelyn Gilley visiting at our house with Aunt Mamie which was my father's half sister and the wife of Maggie's War hero brother Sidney Earnest Manning.
I would be elated if you would transfer management of their father Barney Manning (Memorial# 34392732)to me, as I can add a lot to his Memorial.
If not his middle name was Austin if you would add that. I have also added his parents to Find A Grave.
father: Andrew D "Pap" Manning, Memorial# 63825759
mother: Nancy Ree Knowles Manning Memorial# 63825870

Thanks, Freddy Knowles, Flomaton, Alabama.

John Redden
Hi Sandra,
You posted a memorial #34589905 for John Redden in the Nashville National Cemetery. I had requested a photo, but the voluteer who checked the kiosk at the cemetery says that he is not listed as being buried there. Is he definitely is this cemetery?
Thank you, Shirley

Pollard Cemetery and Barrow graves
Hi Sandra,

stopped in at the Pollard Cem today and took a couple of photos of the Barrow graves. Major changes to the area! As you can see, I left the one photo and added two more. The azalea to the left of the graves has been cut down, and there were additional bushes at the foot of the graves which have been removed. The bushes at the foot of the graves had caused me to take the previous photos from each side. Major improvement!!!

RE: Pollard Cemetery
Hi Sandra,

Will do on the Ellen Barrow photo update. We've got a few to do up around that area so may be able to get to that this week. Will let you know.
