I have always been told that Josephus, s/o James and Nancy, had a twin sister Elizabeth. I posted a memorial some time ago for an Elizabeth Kennedy Orr and wondered about it b/c it was the correct birth year, BUT was off the beaten path. I have been unable to find any info on this person. In the last couple of days, I've received an email stating this was the twin to Josephus according to her father and grandfather, who are still living. This person knows quite a few true facts concerning the Kennedy's. She is working on her end to pry info from her ancestors. She additionally questioned how I was related which I can and did prove to her satisfaction. I know you are related distantly. Have you ever heard anything about Elizabeth Orr? I can possibly connect her to Eber Kennedy through the Chandler's which were in the area she is buried in. Still exploring this concept though. Any info you might have would be appreciated as I try to piece this puzzle together.
I do know there were additional older sisters to Josephus....Sarah Anne who married a Carr(Hall county), Hannah Y who married a Karr(Hall county) and Lucinda who married a Shattles(Lamar county), Mary who married a Higgins(Gwinnett county)and younger sisters Edna who married a Caloway(Gwinnett) and Nancy Jane who married Joel Bailey and died around 1870 leaving 3 children. Joel then married Nancy Kennedy(Josephus' daughter) and had about 9 children and is buried in Gwinnett. There was also a Margaret and a Hugh.
Best regards, Ann Kennedy Patton

Hello again...this is my second message about Mary Lacey. I was doing more research on Mary and came across a few puzzling things. She is buried in that very small section. In that same section is a headstone for "Mary Jane, wife of W.E. Duesler", born 1875, died 3/10/1911. According to cemetery records, she is buried in Grave 8, next to Grave 7 where Mary Lacey is buried. And...there is a record for Millie Lacey, born 1882, died 12/2/1887, and Millie is in the same grave as Mary Lacey (Grave 7). This might all be somewhat confusing, but these three women are definitely part of the same family. Does this info support any information that you have on Mary Lacey?? I have a photo of the stone for Mary Jane Duesler, and I will save it if you want me to post it at a later date. There are two records for male Dueslers, both buried in another section at Woodland, (William and Willard). Let me know.

Hello...I am the volunteer photographer who searched for Mary and Charles Lacey. I'm sorry, but there are no headstones for either person. Mary is buried in a very small section, that only has a dozen stones. Charles is in a large section of single lot graves with hundreds of burials and very few stones. I posted a photo to Charles' memorial that shows the row/tier of his grave. As you can see, there are few stones in that row. I wish I could have been more help.

You had asked questions about this cemetery some time ago. I was there today. There is an office at the church. The church is located at 7901 Bradshaw Rd. Kingsville, MD 21156.
The Cemetery is not there but is close by at 11518 Franklinville Rd., Kingsville, MD 21156.
If you still have questions about graves there I can probably get them for you.
