But... I just saw the note Janice left you. Ironically, we had to drive down Corashire Road to get this other cemetery. Perhaps he is in that one, or if she has better records she could help. If she lives there she may know more.

RE: Merrick Mansir
Mr. Google was wrong on the location of this cemetery, too. Fortunately someone else had posted photos from the road. Google would have sent me to a different cemetery entirely, but by looking around we found the right one via satellite images. Your farm sounds interesting but in truth, we'd never even been there before. The closest I'd been was driving through Monterey on 23. I joined of Friday AM and that cemetery was the first request that popped up that night.
Good luck!!

RE: Mansir's

Thanks for the info. It does seem that we are connected.
There are quite a few Mansir's in the Corashire Cemetery on Blue Hill Rd. in Monterey, Massachusetts. Do you have them all?
They are listed in the Cemetery Inscriptions Monterey, Massachusetts compiled by Cynthia Tryon Hoogs in 1984. There are at least 18.
If you don't have them all, I would be more than happy to send them to you.

RE: Mansir's
The Mansir's are connected through several of my extended family of Langdon's and are incorperated into my tree.
My ancestor, Deac. Amos Langdon had a daughter Electa who married Daniel Brewer, and they had a son named Reuben Rockwood Brewer who married Emily J. Mansir, daughter of Merrick D.
Deac. Amos had a son John, who married Rhoda Curtis, and they had a daughter named Rosella who married John G. Mansir.
Deac. Amos had a grandson Chauncey De Loss Langdon (son of John and Rhoda) who married Mary B. Mansir, daughter of Jared Mansir.
I'm not sure who parents of John and Jared are. Perhaps you can tell me.
As far as the notes and flowers are concerned, I try to recognize everyone I can, in some way.
