|Kristen Arehart Staton||John H Agnor and Mahala|
Hello! My name is Kristen Arehart Staton and I live in Fairfield, VA. Im working on some family history and found you through the find a grave.com site when I looked up my ancestors who are Mahala Davenport Agnor and John H Agnor. I assume you are related to these since you took the pictures. I would love to know if we are related. Mahala and John were my great great great grandparents. If you would like, would love to share some more family info and see what you know. God Bless.

It was good to hear from you..
I apologize it took me so long to respond..I work 3rd shift and don't get to answer emails as often as I wish.
I live about 2 hours away from Lexington a small town named Hillsville.. My husband was born and raised in the Buena Vista/Lexington area , We try to make it there every couple years to visit family and work on genealogy..I adore the whole area so full of history..
House Mountain is a very interesting but sadly cared for cemetery, It is built on the side of a hill that is over taken with trees and weeds with stones toppled and falling down the hill...My Husband and I have been there 3 times, it took two trips to find it..lol
I do have a listing for an unmarked grave , Samuel S Agner 1832-10 Jan 1907, Pvt. CO B 1st Rockbridge Art. CSA
Elizabeth Ruley Agner b.1833 ?
Mary Belle Smith 24 Nov. 1916 - 25 Nov. 1916, daughter of Ira & Elizabeth Agnor Smith
Susanna Agnor Smith 24 Feb.1825 - 21 June 1912 Daughter of John and Bessie Agnor
Did you find House Mountain church?
I look forward to hearing from you soon
