Hi Karen-
I'm responding to the request for info that you have on this memorial. According to the cemetery record, William died at age 27 on Aug. 2 1854. That would make his birth year ca 1827. There is also a notation of a GAR marker.
Three other graves are occupied in the plot, but the names are not noted in the record. The plot is Block 7 Lot 3 Gr. 1.

Again, you're welcome. Although it's a good sized stone, there was so much moss on it you could barely make it out. Fortunately, I carry a brush with me so as you can see it cleaned up pretty good.

You are very welcome, I'm just pleased I was able to get the photos for you. It is such a wonderful marker, but unfortunately getting a little difficult to read. I believe what was at the bottom is Tho lost to sight and on the middle block of the marker is BROCKWAY.

There is another Hazen next to Anna A. The stone is white marble and hard to read but the name 'Hazzen' is clearly visible. It is a marker for a man because there is a Civil War or World War I medallion attached to it. Dennis | | | dennis frisone
