I sent you a message 5 years ago about Guy Edward Hill, John Ransom Hill and Sarah Margaret Vaughn Hill -- telling you that I found no record of them in Fairview Cemetery in Elnora.I have never heard from you but I did see my message on your web page. Since then, you have entered these 3 people in the Fairview Cemetery here. Using one of the cemetery books that Barbara Waggoner compiled, I did find Sarah Margaret Vaughn Hill listed in the Old Cemetery in Elnora, so I did add her there. I have found no record of the other two..........Please delete Sarah Margaret from the Fairview Cemetery and could you please send me the info that makes you think they are buried here? I have lived in Elnora most of my life and have never heard of these people. I am trying to find ANY records on them.
Thank you for your help. I am in the process of taking photos and entering all graves for Fairview on Find A Grave......93% done. Thanks again.

Melvin and Violet Shepherd
I noticed that you are maintaining the memorial for Melvin Shepherd in Sutherland Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN, USA. May I ask if you are a descendant? His wife, Violet's, maiden name was LeFeber and her brother Vernon was my wife's grandfather? We're looking for someone to help us with the Shepherd family branch of the LeFeber family.
Would love to hear back from you.

I have been to Fairview Cemetery in Elnora, IN and I do not find Guy Edward Hill, John Ransom Hill, or Sara Margaret Vaughn Hill there. I was all over the cemetery and they also are not listed in the cemetery books compiled by Barbara Wagonner..... are you sure they were buried there? There is a Fairview Cemetery in Linton -- could they be there??

The memorials you have are really beautiful.

I do a quite a lot of memorials in Park Cemetery
801 Baker Blvd., Carthage, MO, so I'm familiar
with the area. (both of my parents are buried there)

There is only ONE Park Cemetery in this
little town and it currently has 1,283
memorials in it.

Recently someone didn't notice that the cemetery
has existed for a long time on Find-A-Grave and
created another complete Park Cemetery for
Carthage. (There isn't but the one)

The one(s) you have listed below were accidentally
put into the "mini" cemetery that now has 14 entries that someone created by mistake.

Thought you would want to know so people can find
your memorials easily in the correct cemetery group.

Also so that someone else doesn't jump in and re-create yours in the real cemetery. That would be a shame because you do such a beautiful job on your memorials.

Perhaps Find-a-Grave can simply move them for you.

Thought you would want to know right away.

Hill Family
Greene Co. Death records show a Benjamin Hill d. 15 July 1925, aged 74yr 2mo. and Lucinda Hill d. 26 Jan 1900 aged 56yr 20da. Could that be them? I could go to the health dept. and look at the death records and see if there's a burial place, if that's them.

I have been to Dog Island Cemetery twice and photographed every headstone. I do not have one for Benjamin Franklin and Lucinda Sipes Hill. Sorry. Maybe they're at another cemetery. The only ones I didn't photograph were ones so old and unreadable, the stones were smooth. I don't remember any of those at the middle of the cemetery.
