No apology needed! Sorry for any misunderstanding; I did not detect any unhappiness from you at all. I understood you to be happy to see the memorial posted and I merely thought you'd like to have management of her memorial to put your research into Elpenice's bio.

Received your message about your 2nd great grandmother. Interesting story; even though she vanished, her memory lives on! If you want to manage her memorial, I'll gladly transfer it to your care. I'm not related at all and you obviously have a much closer connection to her. (I just sent a request to indicate the memorial is a cenotaph.)

1. The headstone on Samuel Lewis Moore was furnished by the US Government for a military grave. There is nothing further on it. The photo was not placed on line by myself.
2. The information in the bio is as shown, from the U.S. Civil War Soldiers 1861 -1865. Microfilm M226 roll 43. It can be found at NARA or on line with Ancestry.com. I have added a little more data as well.
3. As for not showing a marker for Charlotte Naomie Whedon Graves Moore, The government does not furnish markers for the family members of soldiers. She may not have a marker.
4. Nothing in the records indicate Charlotte Naomie Whedon Graves Moore was adopted, therefore, I would not show this.
