According to his death certificate John Sneddon was born Dec 13 1837 in Scotland. Son of Alexander and Mary (Anderson) Sneddon. He was married to Agnes()Sneddon. He had a son John O Sneddon married to Maggie and had a daughter Sadie. John Sneddon died on 14 Aug 1907 and the death certificate says buried in Shanendoah, PA on Aug 18, 1907. Maybe buried in the same cemetery, not sure though

On the memorial for John A Sneddon you said from the info you have his children are Alex, Mary, Jessie, Sadie, John, George, and Richard.
Actually those are the children of his cousin also named John and his wife the former Agnes Oliver.
There is a lot of confusion over these two, they were in the same company in the civil war and they lived on the same street most of their adult lives.
This John A Sneddon was married twice first to a Muson Simpson(according to his daughter's death certificate). They had two daughter's: Elizabeth Sneddon Hixson Voris(my GG Grandmother) and Jane S Sneddon Caston.
His second wife was Annie Jones, born in Wales. Their children are Robert T, Mary Ellen(Derrick), William A., Elmer G., and Howard Richard Sneddon.
Just thought I would try to clear it up.

No, I'm not related to them. I am interested in all genealogical & biographical information on anyone buried in the Charles Baber Cemetery. I have written one book on the cemetery called; "Charles Baber Cemetery" a genealogical and historical view. It includes a complete listing w/information on everyone buried there, which took me almost two years to compile. I donated every book to the Cemetery, which they sold and retained every penny for continued upkeep & maintenance to the cemetery.
I am in the process of compiling another one to be published in about 3 years; it will have a section dedicated to who these people were, who they are related to and what they have done during their life time.
So I would welcome any information you may have on anyone buried there.
