Bio Photo I've always loved old cemeteries. When I see older gravemarkers that are in disrepair It always made me sad. Not only that no one is caring for it, but also that a relative may come along in 50 years & that part of history probably won't be there for them to see.

RE: Horton gravestone
Hi Bernadette,

I couldn't find a photo of Gene Horton in my collection, but if there is one that I took, feel free. :)

(Now I'm curious, could you point me to his memorial?)

Washburn Family
Yes, I descend from Sarah 'Sally' Washburn Dikeman. The sister and Lizzie and Annie Washburn Shelmadine. And I DO wish that knew more about them all.

Thank you for your assistanace. I appreciate your time and effort. This memorial was created by a Find A Grave volunteer whose research is unquestionably thorough and of the highest quality so I know that he has good reason to assert that Hannah is here. I will contact him and see just what his sources are for his assertions. I will lit you know what I discover.
Thanks for everything that you do for all of the rest of us.

Thanks for posting these. Now I know they're two separate people.

Much appreciated!

Permission to Use Photograph(s)
Hi, Bern, May I have your permission to add a few of your "Hopkins" photographs to my tree? I would, of course, give you credit. Here is what I would put in the photograph description (unless you prefer a different wording:)

Photograph courtesy of bern b, Find A Grave Contributor #47101262 and Find A Grave Memorial# 36589856. Please don't copy photographs w/o obtaining permission from the photographer/copyright holder.

That memorial number is for Solomon Hopkins (1787-1875) and I would change it for other memorials. I think there are six that I would like to use.

Thank you for taking such nice photographs.

Old Baptist Cemetery
If you live near the Old Baptist Cemetery
Carmel could you check the date of death on Francis Taylor (20935074) From your picture you will probably need to do a rubbing. I've blown your picture up as much as it will take and still can't read it with any confidence. There is a controversy as to what the date of death is.

Thanks for your help

Bailey: Raymond Hill
Thanks for the transfer of Benjamin and Calista (Wilson) Bailey. I've already begun to better connect them to family ancestors in the Devoue Bailey Cemetery in Carmel - and descendants as well.
