Thank you!
You added the grave information for Gustavius and Rebecca Richard, who are ancestors of mine. Thank you!

RE: Paul Lake
Nice to meet you Dave,

I guess we're distant cousins. Paul Lake is a 2nd cousin and his father is my 1st cousin. There are several Lakes in my family tree from Taylor County, WV. My 3rd great grandparents are Peyton Lake & Rebecca Bailey Lake. Their daughter, Frances Martha Lake Selvey is my great great grandmother.

I just learned all of this last year when I started the family tree, after visiting Simpson Cemetery and a few others in that county.

Good luck with your research & thanks for all the work you do. That's cool that your daughter is into it as well. I have a 10-yr-old granddaughter who is very interested in genealogy, especially the stories.

Clarence Waggoner
I believe I am related to Clarence L. Waggoner who is buried in Richmond Union Cemetery, Jefferson Co., OH. If my research is correct, he was the son of George Hazlett Waggoner, son of George W. Waggoner, son of Elza Waggoner. Would love to discuss! Thanks so much for taking the photo and posting it! My e-mail is: susanking@carolina.rr.com

Sarah Ann Talbott Scott
I see you have Sarah Ann Talbott Scott buried in Richmond Quaker Cemetery. Do you know her parents? Because I have Joseph Talbott and Mary Farquhar as ancestors, my data base contains many folks with that surname -- but not this one. Just thought I'd ask. Kathryn

RE: Sarah McGrail
Dave, the entry was posted by someone else and I just made the photo request. Her second husband Edward was buried in Union Cemetery in Steubenville (death certificate) but I have no info on Sarah except what was posted by another. Thanks for making the effort though. Kathryn

RE: Oliver Black
Dave: Thank you again for your time. It is possible there were no headstones. I have no way of finding out. Those records would be with whatever funeral director took care of the funerals. Death certificates would be on file at the Jefferson County Probate Court. I do have a copy of the Ohio Death certificate for Oliver. The funeral director was D F Coe, License #435B.
Now who would be reponsible for those reords would be a mystery.
