I am researching the Wise and Earman families of Rockingham County Virginia and the many lines associated with them. I would be very happy to share information with anyone working on these families.

Corinne Miller
Do you know if Corinne Miller aka Corinne Andrews (Wheelock)is related to Cleve Miller. I recently added her to find a grave. She is buried next to Cleve at Gypsum Hill in Salina.

I e-mailed you as I saw the note on the memorial you created. I also put in an edit linking him to his parents graves.

RE: Daniel Byerly
I finally made it back to Sugar Creek Cemetery! I searched the whole cemetery and did not find even one Wise grave.
The person that cares for the cemetery was there before I left and consulted his paper with all the plots and again we did not find any person named Wise.. They have no list drawn up, so must just go through the whole chart.
Our thought is that she is probably buried with Wise people somewhere. Sorry we could not find her. There are a number of cemeteries nearby, so could be down the road if they lived in the area.

I did not notice Margaret Ann Brower Wise--I will look the next time I go past the cemetery. There was a larger stone with Byerly on the base, the top is broken off and lying on the ground, but of course that wouldn't be Wise, I guess.
We were fortunate to be there at the same time as the cemetery trustee and were able to check to see if Daniel was there, and he was. I could check to see if Margaret Ann Brower Wise is there. I can probably check at the church some time. Did she attend there? It is Sugar Creek Church of the Brethren.
This is like detective work!!! Glad I can help out!! Linda

Thank you for the correction. No, I am not related, but thank you anyway. Are you related?

You are so welcome. It is a pleasure to be able to take these photos for those that live so far away. Joan

No, I didn't notice a wife's name on the stone. There were two other names listed in the Paulding County inscription book as to either being on the stone (I really don't think there was anyone else) or at the side as two other stones. They were Lillie E. d(daughter)/L.J. & J. Mar.9,1872-May 13,1894 and James W. s(son)/(ditto marks)Jan. 6, 1856-Sept.27,1895.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
