Thanks so much. I was so stupid not to send you the links. Made it hard for you! Appreciate all you do.
|Julia Griffith||Nancy Hastings Burford Haggerty|
The best I can tell, Nancy was a Burford and married her cousin a Burford before she married William Haggerty. So maybe we should really style her Nancy Hastings Burford-Burford Haggerty. These naming things get really tricky.
You can read about these complications here
If you would like to have a few less sites to maintain, you can transfer her to me along with William Haggerty's if you like. She is my 4th great-grandmother. Thanks for all your work photographing and entering these. I hope to visit the grave one day.

I have transferred him over to you. There is a William Baker and a Macy Baker buried there also. Let me know if you want them, too. Take care, I'll talk to you another time!
|Glenda Barry||Roy Baker|
Thanks for sending the info, I have added it. Let me know if you want him transferred over to you. There are a few Bakers there that I could transfer if you want, just let me know. Have a good evening.

I'm still pursuing it. Don't give up on me. Takes me awhile - too many irons in the fire.

You know, when I was home in May and attended Ames Chapel Church, Howard Elliot told me about that as we were looking over old family pictures and remembering my relatives there over the years. He was the oldest member left in the church and I went to school with his dtr. and was a member there as a teenager. Katherine and my dad, Lawrence Melvin Heckler, had the grandparents of Ed and Ethel Underwood, who were there from the beginning. Katherine was Harold's girl and Dad was Ruth's boy. I have not researched it at all, but am in contact with Katherine's daughter. Would you like for me to put you two together? Thank you VERY MUCH for writing. We are learning so much about our beloved families through ancestry.com, findagrave, www.ingenweb.org/InOrange, and those willing to share and fill in the gaps, for us to pass onto our families -- before it's all gone. Chiquita (Heckler) Baker.
