I have taken my YDNA, and have joined the Hawkins Worldwide DNA Project. I'm the group administer for group #10. So far, most of my Ancestors and their Decedents are from North Carolina. To see this Hawkins Family YDNA test results, Family Trees and pictures, go to the site below.|
I encourage all members of this Family to tie your deceased ancestors and their decedents to findagrave.com so that we may link all of our family members together.
Being the Administer for this Hawkins Family group #10 in the Worldwide YDNA Hawkins Project. I will transfer all direct ancestors "in find a grave" that I have possession of over to the qualified participant of the Hawkins YDNA Project.
I believe that everyone should have the right of ownership for their direct ancestors in find a grave. Of course this will be based on a first come service, and all others shearing the same direct ancestors will be linked through your tree.
I'm trying very hard to link all individuals of this Hawkins Family together along with their allied families, to find a grave.
Administer for group #10

RE: Your memorial *42245422.
I believe there is a duplicate memorial for John A. McVay. See Memorial #80200238.
I have sent a message to the people who created that memorial and suggested they check out the information and contact you.
They have included a photo of the memorial stone which provides the days of birth and death.
Keep up the good work.
Hi, Please compare these memorials for Walter P. Fogleman--45191437 @ Mt Pleasant United Methodist and 66014659 @ Mt Pleasant Lutheran. I have created a memorial for Charleen Fogleman Garner--143095290 @ Alamance Memorial. Recent obit @ Rich and Thompson Funeral Home. Let me know if I need to make changes. Peggy

|Roy K||Hardy Wood Name|
Correction needed. After looking closely at an enlargement of the gravestone, Hardy Wood should be Col. HANDY WOOD. Please make correction. Thanks

|Margaret C Smith||Hannah B Smith|
This is a duplicate of the Barbara Hannah Shepherd (maiden name) Smith. She was the wife of John T Smith. He's one of the Smiths from Kimesville Road.
|Margaret C Smith||Hettie F Amick and John M Amick|
We would like to see the relationship for these two shown on the memorial page. We almost missed this when trying to find Hettie F Smith (maiden name) Amick's husband. We eventually found it on the photo page. On his page, you will need to show both wives - Sarah J, whom we do not know, and Hettie F Smith Amick.
My husband is a descendant of the Smith family in Guilford County on Kimesville Road. It was known as Long's Mills area during the Civil war. Hettie F. Smith Amick is the daughter of Andrew Smith and Elizabeth (Betsy) Fruit (Maiden Name) Smith.
Thank you very much.
