Jacob Shepherd
I see the info here states he was the son of Thomas and Sally Leathers; however, the dates don't quite line up as the Jacob, son to Thomas and Sally, was born in 1801, not 1803. Also, they were Quakers, not of the Anglican church. In following the Jacob trail, records consistently state an Irish heritage, which is not correct for the Thomas Shepherd line, born mostly in New Hampshire. Saw the post for Thomas Shepherd that states he died in 1901 aged 72 years; how can he get married in 1799? Please investigate. I'm guessing that the real son Jacob of Thomas and Sally died young or never married since the trail doesn't make sense. I consistently see others copying information into their trees without investigating it first and see tons of errors that just keep precipitating.

Please let me know what you find.

Thanks!
Vern Knox.
GGG grandson of George Washington Shepherd, eldest son of Thomas Shepherd and Sally Leathers.

RE: dates?
Thank for your e-mail, but I'm sorry Jo-Ann, I don't want to give you any trouble. I just thought that you might have the registers on hand.

As for these dates:
a) Alice Lloyd I'm sure she was born in 1864 dying in 1932 at 38 (She was the youngest of the family)

b) Hannah Kennison - I was just wondering if she's the one I'm looking for.

I have a Hannah Melissa Kennison, widow of George Chilton who married Marcus Lloyd in 1899.
She was born May 28 1864 and died in 1908

It could be that she's just another Han. Kennison

dates?
Hi,

I would like to verify 2 different dates:

Lloyd, Alice Addie Lloyd Richardson
b. 1845 - 1903
I believe she was born in 1864

Lloyd Hannah Kennison h. Marc Lloyd

Could she have died Apr 13 1908 instead of 1880?

RE: Re: Stukely Cemetery
Yes, I look at many Quebec cemeteries. I had info on W. H. Libby and his parents. William Henry Libby's 2nd marriage was my relation.
Glad I could add info to the memorials

Salls family
Hello! I was wondering if you were related to the Salls family, and if not, would you mind transferring the memorails for Ephraim and Beulah Salls in South Stukely Cemetery over to me?

Thank you.

Sargeants
I am contacting you again to request transfers of my family in the South Stukely cemetery. I would like to manage the Sargeants, at least temporarily, so that I can make the appropriate links and add additional information. Your cooperation and help in this endeavor would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Robert Erwin Clifford
Thank you so much, JoAnn, for the photo of my great-great-granduncle Robert Clifford's grave.

You probably don't know this, but the family had no idea what happened to him. My grandmother had a note by his name in her family records that said "Robert left home and nobody ever heard from him again."

Today I found a small article online that said he had died in Eastman, Quebec where he had been working as a "station agent", so I checked "FindAGrave" and there was his tombstone with his exact death date! So amazing. I'm very thankful and I'm sure that somewhere his family is smiling that we know the truth now.
