My interest in Genealogy started when I found out I was adopted. It has now grown to tracing my adopted family, natural family, husbands family and other in-law family members. Where ever I happen to travel I always look to see if family members might be in any of the local cemeteries and try to plan my trips around locating them. For those that are out of my reach I have had a multitude of help from other volunteers here on FAG and hope I have helped others but taking pictures for them here at home.
For anyone I have taken pictures for, you have my permission to use them for your personal use. If I happen to manage someone who is your relative, please let me know and will gladly transfer them to you. | |

Ah, so you are from the area! I just moved here in July, a little town called Fairlee. I was originally from PA. For many years I traveled all through Maryland to visit, just loved the area, but found I was most fond of the eastern shore. Then in doing my ancestry, I found that my family, Pearce / Pierce, were among the original settlers here in Kent and Cecil Counties..... I think it was my ancestors calling me all those years, so last summer I finally heeded their call and packed up the family and moved. It is such a nice place to raise the kids, but jobs are hard to come by! | | | Lori Pierce-Maristch

Sorry to take so long in getting back to you.
I met an elderly gentleman while at the cemetery, who apparently is the one to speak to regarding burials. His name is Mr. Burgess. The phone number for the church is 410-639-2144.

If I can be of any further assistance, let me know. I spend quite a bit of time at the area cemeteries.
