RE: Barbara Hochnadel Berger
I apologize for the delay in answering you e-mmil. I have been lax at checking e-mails on this site and sorry you had to wait so long for an answer.
The relationship with the Hochnadel's is thru my husband's line. His 2 or 3 grandfather was Jacob Applehans (1862 Russia, spouse Eva Steinbeck). They had a daughter, Rosa Appelhans, (1891) who married a Gregory Schell (1891). Gregory Schell's 2nd spouse was Elizabeth Hochnedal, (1907) and her parents were John (1875) spouse Anna Marie Gertner(1877). The relationship is distant but I would be happy to share any additional information I have with you.

Barbara Hochnadel Berger
Memorial #34375379 Barbara Hochnadel WAS NOT born in Argentina. Her father Johannes Hochnadel entered the U.S. in 1912, Passenger list ship name
Pallanza, Sailed from Hamburg, Germany. says he was born in Russia. His wife Anna arrived in August 1913, ship name Adriatic, sailing from Liverpool. She is listed as born in Russia and going to Sterling to join her husband, John Hochnadel. With her are the following children,Theckla, Magadalena, Katharina, Barbara, Anna Marie, Andereas, ALL born in Russia. The 1920 Census shows the children born after they came to the U.S. as being born in Colorado. There is no documentation I can find that proves any other place of birth for any of this family.
Where did you get the information that any of them were born in Argentina?
Thank you for a reply.

Ray,
Thank you for checking on my Great Grandfather's burial request for me. Understand that there was no headstone or marker, but the information that was provided was helpful. Thank you for your time, it was greatly appreciated.

Robirds Burial
Ray; Thanks for all your research on Grave locations. My father was Donald Ray Robirds. He was born in 1914 and passed away in 1988.He is buried at FT. Logan cemetary in colorado. My dads parents, are buried in Loveland Colorado.his parents names are William Henry Robirds and Mary Gertrude Peters Robirds. He passed away in 1945 and she passed away in 1947.I know they are buried here because we would go there so my father could pay his respects to his parents.I looked on line to see if i could get the name of the cemetary. no luck as of yet. Maybe you our someone else might know how i might be able to get this information. thanks again for all your research.

Sincerely: Dan R.

You're welcome for the photos! It was a nice day here in Ohio, so thought I'd take a trip up to Oak Harbor.

Hey Ray, thanks for all your work. Your tree on rootsweb has been a springboard for me finding lots of info off ancestry.com's databases and shelbycountyindiana.org. Judith/Judia Fox Bass's father Michael is brother to my Christopher Fuchs/Fox. Makes Judiah my 1st cousin 6 times removed. Glad to share anything with you (kinchaser at juno dot com); Still gleaning gems from ancestry. These Foxes sure had the wanderlust. MD IN NC OH IA NE KS MO TX, etc. Thanks for the photos too.
