Well I got home from the hospital and so far so good. I can't do much work because my genealogy computer is downstairs. I just wanted to let you know I am home!

Oh you are quite welcome. I'd have more if I knew where everyone was buried. I actually have more information on your side of the family under John B than on his half brother's side (my side)!!! I may be moving to Pittsburgh in 2 years when my oldest graduates and hopefully I'll have time to run around over there and get information on my side of the family!

I finally found their headstones - see their memorials for the pics! Love,Sharon

No, Sorry, I am not your aunt but a very distant relative on my ggg grandfather's half brother's side of the family. I know it sounds confusing! However, I'll try to explain. My ggg grandfather was Jonathan Coleman of Beaver County, PA. He had a half brother, John Buchanan Coleman who lived here in EL. I have found this information in military documents on one of Jonathan's sons. Anyhow, Betty Hood comes in with husband James Coleman, who is a great great grandson of John Buchanan Coleman. I have been researching on both sides of the family hoping to come up with more concrete evidence of Jonathan and John being half brothers besides the military affidavits. I have been working with Janet Geisse and Cathy Raber from that side of the family though that you are related to. If there is anything at all I can help you with, please ask me!!!! Talk to you soon! sharon
