 | Segraves in East View
Hello Pam-
You are welcome. I enjoy transcribing cemeteries. I actually did East View in 2005, but I got busy with other cemeteries and didnt get the names added right away. I hope you do add stuff to your Segraves grandparents. I sometimes look up the families that intigue me- usually ones with multiple names on the stones- in the census images and ancestry.com and add bios to my entries. I just got a digital camera for my birthday and I hope to eventually add photos of the graves I transcribe. Don't know ow that will work out- I am not used to uploading pictures as I never had a digital camera before.
My grandparents - Carl and Mary Sue Fahrner, are also buried in East View. I also have a few other relatives buried there. On warm days- usually in the spring and summer- I escape to East View on my lunchbreak from work and eat my lunch in the cemetery. I just check things out and sit and just relax from the stress of the day. If you are ever there and see a four door silver truck- that is probably me.
