|RedbirdRidge||Stephen M. Smith (Memorial# 56910611)|
Hi, Susan! I have no information on Stephen M. Smith's parents. Haven't researched them. He is connected to the Martins through his wife:
Stephen M. Smith married Emma Lee White.
Her parents were John B. White and Louisa Jane "Jennie" Martin.
Jennie Martin was the daughter of Joshua Martin and Elizabeth Edwards.
Joshua Martin was the son of William Martin (1776-1834) and Martha Stephens.
The information on my blog is only an outline of the first few generations. Sorry if it caused you any confusion.
I'm transferring Stephen M. Smith (Memorial# 56910611) and his wife Emma Lee White (Memorial# 56910642) to you.

Welcome to the world of Genealogy Addicts. :) Contact me next week (or so) and I'll be very happy to see what I have on your great-grandfather's line. I'm waiting for a new AC adapter for my laptop where my latest genealogy info is located. It's backed up online at Mozy, but it's easier to just wait for the new part. :)
Happy hunting! Ann
