I am working on the family tree of the Johnsons of Fairmount, Gordon County and Fannin County as well as Pettett/Pettit of Pickens and Gordon county. There are many people whom are so willing to help and couldn't begin to touch the work of George Pettett. I am the son of Margie Johnson of Fairmount, Grandson of Homer and Roberta Johnson. Many of my family come from North Georgia and the photos that I add were takin during my research and I am sure as time passes I will be adding many more.
