I am working on the family tree of the Johnsons of Fairmount, Gordon County and Fannin County as well as Pettett/Pettit of Pickens and Gordon county. There are many people whom are so willing to help and couldn't begin to touch the work of George Pettett. I am the son of Margie Johnson of Fairmount, Grandson of Homer and Roberta Johnson. Many of my family come from North Georgia and the photos that I add were takin during my research and I am sure as time passes I will be adding many more. I think the saying that somehow we are all realted is so very true and you never know how true that is until you start researching your family history. Feel free to contact me for information or pictures.|

Francis Cemetery, Jackson Co. Oklahoma. She was in the 1930 census with Sam M. Pettett in Headrick, Jackson County, Oklahoma. I believe she probably died in Dec. 1930 as shown on her marker, and not 1927.

Thanks so much.

I also took pictures and added the Pettit children. If you would like me to transfer ownership, just let me know. I will be glad to.

Someone sent me some information on James Henry Clayton buried at Clayton Cemetery, Gadsden, Alabama.
His father was Charles Alexander Clayton and his mother was Nancy Richards. Grandson of Joseph Clayton and Sarah Jane Pettit. You may have already had this information but I thought I would forward it on to you just in case.

Thank you so much for all the hard work you did in getting all the pictures for me. One picture was very special to me. It was that of the grave of my older Brother, Michael Edward Hargrove. I have never seen his grave, until now. I didn't find out about him untill later in life. Though he only lived 3 days, he was still my big brother and I will always be grateful for the picture you sent.
Thanks again for all your hard work. You are on my Friends list.
