Susan (Fleming) Stewart #33646079
Dale,

I am doing research into the history of my home in Mercer, PA. I have a deed that lists A Susan Stuart as selling the land that my home is on to her daughter, Mary S. Bell in 1877.

On your listing for Susan Stuart (Find A Grave #33646079) it says that Susan was the mother of Elizabeth (Stewart) Bell (Find A Grave #69362742) and that Susan had 7 children; I believe that my Mary S. Bell (Find A Grave #72072785) is also one of her children.

I have a Census records that states that Mary was married to James B. Bell (Find A Grave #72072634), also buried in the same cemetery.

And based on another census records I also believe that she is the mother of Samuel (Find A Grave #50302422), Robert (Find A Grave #33645508), and William (possibly Find A Grave #19852787 based on the fact that his older brother is buried in Los Angeles). I can not find any record of the two other children. If you know where this information came from I would love to know.

I am also fairly certain that Elizabeth's husband George Bell (Find A Grave #69362823) was the brother of Mary's husband James Bell (Find A Grave #72072634). The Bell family owned the land adjacent to the Stewart family.

I hope all of this makes sense. Please let me know if it does not. Thanks.

David Ramey
Hi,

I was wondering if you know about David Ramey's daughter Bertha Ramey, who married William Lloyd Pennock?

I was contacted, by another findagraver, about both Bertha and her husband William being moved from one cemetery (Greenwood) to Grandview. Along with a David Ramey. Not sure if he is David Ramey or David Ramey Pennock. There is also a Donald McGowan and a Ruth (Taylor) who were moved.

You added David Ramey so I was hoping that you might have more knowledge of him since you also added a bio? Just hoping.

Thanks for your time.

Have a great weekend!

Hi,

Are you related to Daniel Musselman? I am related to his brother Abraham Musselman. It looks like the brothers are both buried in Greenwood Cemetery.

Have a great week!

Dale,

I got the photo of Daniel and Mary Brua's stone in the Lutheran Cemetery and added them to your entries. For some inexplicable reason, the bottom of the obelisk reads "RHODES". Can you shed any light on that?

I located the stone... the following FLEMINGS were buried in the same area:
FLEMING,William Died 06-22-1881 Aged 65 Years.
FLEMING,Hannah, wife of Wm. Died 03-06-1887 Aged 65 Years.
If they are related, please add them and I'll add the pictures. Thanks!

Morning Dale,
I was at this cemetery this morning. Regretfully, I didn't see Catherine's stone. There is one stone that the top half is broken off, but it indicates a death date in 1856. Others in this FLEMING plot were:
FLEMING,Joseph Died 10-08-1868
FLEMING,Elizabeth Died 06-02-1865
I checked the Mercer County Cemetery Inscrption book, and it indicates she is buried there (Book #1, Page 50) I'll look further, and let you know if I can find it.
Terry
