RE: Grace Helen Owens English

Thanks for all your efforts. The information we have on Grace is based on her death certificate and her second husband's burial location. She was married to her second husband, James in 1924. Here's her death certificate:
Florida Death Index, 1877-1998
Name: Grace Helen English
Death Date: 29 Apr 1977
County of Death: Dade
State of Death: Florida
Age at Death: 75
Race: White
Birth Date: 6 Apr 1902

Source Information: Florida Death Index. .......................

Her second husband, James W. English, died in 1962, 15 years before Grace died. He is buried in Section 4, Lot 142, Grave 1 of the Palms Woodlawn Cemetery - Princeton, Miami-Dade,FL

The death certificate for Grace shows that she never remarried and remained in the Miami-Dade county area until her death.

Her Social Security information confirms that she was living in the Miami area at the time of her death.

I don't know if any further searches will be fruitful, but if she is buried in the Palms Woodlawn Cemetery she should be next to her second husband, in Section 4, Lot 142.

Thanks again for all your help.

Blythe, Thanks so much for the photos of my Rosa and Ellis Faircloth. I appreciate all the documents you posted also. I copied them to my personal records and made the plot locations on their memorials.
I would appreciate you removing the documents from their memorials. I really perfer just the photo's of the grave markers to remain with their memorials.
Thanks again for all the work your doing for us on this site.

Dear Blythe:

I am so happy today, after viewing your answer to my photo request for my grandpa.

At least I have some kind of closure in that I now know where he is buried, even though w/o a headstone.

That was so very thoughtful of you to do that for me.

I am praying for extra blessings for you and your family for your kindness.

Very sincerely, Kathy

RE: Grace English
Thanks for your reply. However, I cannot remove the photo you placed, only the person placing the photo can remove it.

When you checked whether there was a Grace English buried in the Palms Woodlawn Cemetery did you check using all her names, "Grace Helen Owens English"?

I ask because she was previously married to a Mr. Owens and also because she might have been listed under her second given name, Helen. Also you might check all the cemetery listings for English and/or Owens burials in case she was buried with some other variety of her name.

My problem is that since she died in 1977 (some years after her second husband died in 1962) she most probably would have been buried by her surviving English family. We know that she died in Dade County, FL the same county of the cemetery and where her English husband was buried.

Her death certificate shows that she didn't remarry after her English husband died. I have to believe that she is somehow buried in the Palms Woodland Cemetery.

Negative, I found no grave marker for Lucy although she was listed as being interred in the cemetery.

Hi Blyth, I host the state of Nevada for the Genealogy Trials Project and a year or so ago I traveled to Humboldt county,I live in Wichita, KS, to take cemetery readings and photographs.

I spent a week there reading the cemeteries and contacting people who could help with obits, marriages, etc.

Had a lot of success as I did get three cemeteries photographed, Winnemucca being one of them.

I'm glad it was of some help to you.

If you have others of concern you might take a look at the web site for Nevada,
