We started doing family genealogy over 20 years ago. It is something we both love doing, not only for ourselves, but for others that also share an interest in discovering their past.

We may not always be able to respond to requests for changes or transfers quickly but, we will make every effort to address each one as our time will allow.

If you could transfer his memorial it would be better. The obit is very old & it would be better if I just typed it in. Just found it in some very old family papers.

My transfer # is 47297676.

Joe & Linda ~ Thanks once again for taking the photos of the Tucker and Carmichael markers. I know that at times you risk stepping into ankle-breaking holes, sunburn, poison ivy, and insect bites to get a photo for someone you don't know. I so appreciate your gifts of time and energy! Many blessings to you!

Ewald photos--thank you!
Great photos--should be no question that they were husband and wife, and thanks for submitting the edit.

John and Mary O'Rorke
Oh my stars ... how can I thank you for yet another family photo? Moreover, you've given us something else to think about -- that stone looks like it is of recent vintage, so we're wondering what distant relation that we don't know is watching over John and Mary? Perhaps we have family out there that we didn't know about!

In any case, we appreciate so much your contributions!

Thank you for the information on the burial location. I changed the cemetery from Beatrice to Odell to make it correct. Really appreciate that information.

RE: St. James Cemetery
Can't express my appreciation enough for the extra headstone photos. I mentioned the "lost' branch of the O'Rorke family... finding Carson Matthew, John Carmichael and Margaret Darling all buried in St. James was a godsend, along with their brother James O'Rourke who is buried nearby in Cortland Cemetery. We have two siblings who remain lost - Frank who appears only on the 1880 census and Catherine, and I've wondered if they could be in one of those cemeteries (although they are not listed in the record books) perhaps in unmarked graves or with illegible stones. As I looked further into those cemeteries, I realized how many inter-relationships there are so I started slowly inputting names into the St. James database and investigating the families as I proceeded. A slow process, as you can imagine. Our Catherine (Katie) O'Rorke, b. 1863 married Patrick Hogan who is buried in St. James. She must have died shortly thereafter as there seem to be no children and he married Catherine Gleason (buried next to him) in 1899. Too much information, I know, but wanted to explain my interest in St. James, and thank you again for helping me to advance our family history!
