Franks Family
Just wanted to leave a note to say "hi" from a fellow Laurens, SC Franks descendent (great grandmother Janie Gordon Franks {Hazle}, daughter of Charles Mansil Franks, son of Robert, son of Nehemiah, and so on). My great grandmother died in 1961 when I was a child but I remember her very well. It's always nice to find more "family". :)

George Franks
Saw your name associated with George Franks grave site. He was my grandfather. My father, his son, was Claude Franks. My tree is the same as yours, including adding the s.

Martha Holden Keener #41841191
Hi Buddy, I have added memorials for Martha Holden Keener's parents, John and Arminda Holden. Would you please link Martha to her parents. John Holden #116957717 and Arminda Holden, #116957779.
I would like to see their family linked.
John Holden is my Great Uncle.

Sequoyah National Golf Course
I just wanted to let you know that this cemetery and golf course is located in Jackson County, not Swain County. It is in what is locally known as the the Gateway Community. This area is not part of Cherokee; even though the golf course is owned by the Cherokee Indians. The town of Cherokee, itself is located in a portion of Jackson County and a portion of Swain County. Have a wonderful day!

In researching my husband's Cabe/Yarborough family, I find that the Cabe's and Frank's intermarried several times.
