Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family tree, as well as my wifes, for many years, picking up where my father, cousin and great aunt left off, and it has become sort of an obsession. Thankfully my work had paid off and I have been able to help a lot of other people as well. This site as well as my own genealogy site below has allowed me to "meet" a lot of new relatives and cousins along the way.

All of the memorials I own here are my family. They were mostly centered around Kankakee and Joliet, Illinois. My direct Smith line is finally complete. Also, If you wish to use any grave photos I have posted for your family tree or your own website feel free. Those out there that claim grave photos they post here are copyrighted and threaten to take legal action have way too much time on their hands. It's not art folks, it's a gravestone photo!

I occasionally take photo's for others as a way to thank those that have been kind enough to have taken them for me.

If you are related, let me know and feel free to register and see more on my family here!

P.S. Not sure why anyone would have time or wish to waste energy but nasty comments left on my personal family tree web site (linked to below) by people that think they are sending it in secret will be reported to the admins. Your IP addresses are saved when you submit them. You and I know who you are!

**I have decided to remove a majority of the photos of the people in my main family from this site. If you are wanting copies of the Smith or Rice familiy photos, please drop me a line or join my personal site.**

If you are interested in the local Tracy Family History that I have done about two years ago, feel free to contact me "Lyle Rockwell" at jrockwell8@stny.rr.com. I am not related to any Tracy family, but did this history for a friend of mine that turned 90 years old and was a Tracy. Her name was Mara Tracy Sergeant Wolfe and passed away about two years ago.

Andrew, I'm sorry I put the request out so Betty could get credit as she has told me she took the photos earlier today. I can't believe this happens especially when some go for years before any one claims them. Thank you for all the photos you do take for all the others.

Andrew, He is in the same grave, however, his name is not on the headstone. James

RE: Douds
Yes, they are the only two. I don't know the history of it and if/how many more graves there were. These were taken last spring/summer on a bike ride around the area. A friend says there was an article a couple years ago in the local Sunday Defiance Crescent news about their lives/deaths but I don't remember reading it. I also created a page for the other brother, Albert. Are you related?

Olszewski Photo
Hello, Today I will post a photo for Father Olszewska. At the site I took photos for Helena d.1956, Marja d.1914, Wladyslaw d.1925, Stanislaw Rydlewicz d.1956, Estelle Olszewski. If you create the memorials I will add the photos.
