|Deb Poe||Phelps grave|
I was in Atwood today taking pictures of gravestones. I looked for Alta Phelps grave. It is listed in the cemetery directory but I couldn't find it. I know I will be going back to Atwood. I will try again. Have you been to the grave? I think according to the directory it is in the 1st addition
Block 4 Lot 1. Which would be close to the North end of the cemetery and a little bit to the east. Does that sound right. I will keep looking. I did find
Darlene's grave and it is posted. Glad to help you.

|Twin of an Angel||Jake Riffel, Jr Headstone|
I would love a photograph of the permanent headstone when it is erected. I appreciate the offer. I will try to contact my great aunt and see if they have a time frame of when it will be erected and let you know. Spring is in the air and I am itching to go venturing myself. Thank you again.

right now next tuesday sounds fine. How about the Palace at 11;30? Or, if you would like, e could meet at Honeyville and I could show you around Hermosa Cemetry (assuming we don't get a blizzard.) I am in the phonebook (Szelag) if anything goes wrong.

Yes - we should get together for lunch someday. I retired here (former engineer) 5 years ago and started cemetery research not too long after. I spent last year researching Hermosa Cemetery (next to Honeyville) and am now working on Florida Cemtery (south of Elmore's corner.) I also have acted in cemetery tours in both Animas Cemetery (near the college - the oldest cemetery within town limits) and Greenmount. I do this as a volunteer for the museum, and have two other friends who do this as well. email@example.com

I am so glad to see you made it to Find A Grave. I also combine my love of old cemeteries and photography and genealogy. It all makes for a wonderful experience in helping others, and in being helped. You are going to be such an asset here, and will have rewarding times doing it. Delina
