 | RE: Clarence H. Doyle Margaret Doyle Thompson b: 05 Aug 1914 d:17 May 2009 in Slidell, LA. She was in a nursing home. She was cremated but her remains have not been interred yet. There is a marker in the Syracuse Cemtery for her with George.
You have the wrong Geo Thompson. George Wesley Thompson b:15 Mar 1915 on farm near Syracuse, KS d:Jun 1980 SSDI shows last delivery of benefits as Metarie, LA. I do not know if he died at his primary residence which was in Fernwood, MS or in a hospital. I pretty sure it was in a hospital! I can find out. He is interred in Syracuse Cemetery. I attended the funeral.
I do most of my genealogy via Ancestry.com.
Clarence H. Jr. lived in Plano, TX. Do not know if he died at home or in a hospital. Will see what I can find out for you and MY records too. I don't know if I ever met Clarence or any of Margaret's relatives. | | | cgthompson
 | Clarence H. Doyle I saw a post regarding the Doyles of Deerfield. My aunt by marriage was Margaret Doyle, daughter of Clarence. She passed away just recently at the age of 94. I did not know if you were related to the Doyles. | | | Leon Barton

 | Re: Edwenia Schwebel I gave Mr. Schwebel a copy of the obituary that I put on his grandmother's memorial. He did not have any information to add to what was in the obituary. He did confirm that George & Edwenia had been in France. I will keep you in mind should I find out any new informaton on Mrs. Schwebel. GJAdded by GJ on Nov 04, 2009 12:57 PM | | | GJ
 | Re; Edwenia K. Schwebel I have not talked to the gentleman that I told you about, but I did go to our local newspaper and found Mrs. Schwebel's obituary. I took a picture of the obituary and have added it on her memorial. By the way, I spelled Edwena just like it was spelled in the obituary. It appears that this is the lady you are looking for. I put her date of death on the memorial based on the date of the newspaper. If Mr. Schwebel can provide me with any further information I will let you know. I hope this information helps you.

 | RE: Edwenia K. Schwebel Edwenia Schwebel's memorial was one of a number of memorials that I set up for the cemetery she is buried in, so I did not do it because I knew her. There are no other Schwebels buried near her. It just happens though that I know someone with the last name Schwebel, and when I asked him if he was related to her, he said that she was his grandmother. He did not even know were she was buried until I told him. I will be happy to ask him about her background to see if she is the Schwebel you are asking about. It may be several days before I can get back to you, but I will let you know what I find out. GJAdded by GJ on Oct 22, 2009 11:36 AM | | | | [View all messages...] |
