Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, I enjoy reading about past lives and finding long lost ancestors. I also enjoy helping out with finding graves as much as I can, however, where I live the cemeteries are stretched far and wide. Let me know if you need help with a local grave. If any of my postings are members of your family please let me know and I will happily transfer control to you. I appreciate all suggestions, additions and corrections.

RE: Mary Ann Caves Monroe
Yes. I have it on my disk somewhere. Your mother thought it maybe Molly Caves but was not sure. That is all I have to go by.

RE: Jerry Grice
I haven't come across any Grice surnames in my line so I don't think we are related.... except for the fact we are all related (if christian: by adam and eve, if scientific: by same speck of dust :-)

I wish I would have had a poker with me. I could have poked around the ground to see if there was anything buried under the grass. It is near where my great grand parents are buried. The next time I am out there I will check with a poker stick for you.

RE: Samuel Monroe
Yes...I was a child back in the 1970s and recall eating lunch with them on Sunday's and sometimes diving down to Fort Pierce to eat at Morrison's Cafateria. Uncle Sam was old school and use to refer to the help as ni__ers but not to be mean it was just how he referred to them. Old school south. I recall thinking this man is going to get us killed. Lol...nice guy, very friendly, and I have fond memories of meeting them and my parents chatting with Sam and Lida on Sunday afternoons.

George Grice
Hi there,

Just wanted you to know that I took the picture you requested today. Also, next to George was Mattie Grice. I added that picture as well.

Thanks!
Angie

Graves Cemetery
I restored Graves Cemetery about 6 years ago. I live about 8 miles from it, and I'll go by next week to try to find your request. I repair headstones as a hobby, and have done a lot of work in Graves Cemetery. Thank you Mark

RE: Gandy Relation
I don't show a daughter named Elizabeth from Pharoah & Temperence Gandy Poppell but they had a son Pharoah Poppell Jr who married Mary Polly Robinson. They had a daughter named Elizabeth A Poppell born about 1855 in Gadsden Co., FL.

RE: Gandy Family
Are you a Gandy or related to a particular Gandy. I have over 400 pages of data compiled on Gandys. It would help if I knew where you fit in.
