Are you sure that his marker has been placed? It generally takes more than a month. I will check with the cemetery for the plot location and I will ask them they might know if the marker has been placed.

Not sure if you saw the photo shared on an ancestry website of Joab and Sophia. I posted to their memorials.
She is my 1st cousin 3x.

I guess I should have looked at my previous message. It's been a while since we corresponded.

Howell family as in Joab? Married my Sophia Greer?
|DSON1492||RE: Joab Howell - 119236077|
I did some checking and I do think that Nancy passed between 1850-1860 No census found for her after 1850 and no other marriage. The family settled in the Springfield twp, Franklin County by 1830 and it looks like Joab's mother and most other family is buried at Big Cedar. I walked the whole cemetery and took pictures of every grave as I have family also buried there.
Her marker could be destroyed on not able to read but I take pictures of even the non legible because sometimes I can make things out.
Sorry but possibly you will find the answer, never give up you never know what records may be uncovered.
Have a Great Day

Link to your website is not working. Did you change or delete it?

Karen - I'm sorry, but I haven't made it there this year and probably won't. I just haven't had the time. I'm sorry.
|Linda Williams||Charles Hayward grave photo|
I added a photo for Charles Hayward from Brick Cemetery in Meigs County Ohio. There does seem to be a discrepancy on the death date though. The tombstone says Dec. 2, 1861 instead of Dec. 20.

Forgot to mention, will email you the newspaper article from 1881. It was a census for people buried at the cemetery.
