Inspired by the work done by her great grandfather, Silas Wm. Blizzard (fag #40386458), while writing a history of his family, my mother, Eleanor Clara Blizzard Black (fag#36676318) began her own research. She continued until the early 1980's when arthritis and osteoporosis made the work too difficult for her. I had always found the subject interesting but did nothing with it until after inheriting mother's numerous notes. I began my own search to learn more about my ancestors and those of my wife about ten years ago but did so on a limited basis until more recently. Find A Grave has proved to be a wonderful tool! I've "met" so many people here who have been so helpful to me. As I've visited cemeteries and researched names, I've found many of our relatives. I've also created memorials for many other people I've found along the way in the hope that what I've done may be helpful to others who are searching for their ancestors. If I've entered information incorrectly, I apologize; please let me know and I'll make corrections. If you find ancestors of yours among the memorials I've created and would like for me to transfer them to you, let me know. If neither my wife nor I is related, I'll be happy to make the transfer.|

Thanks Tom: I found another record which listed the correct information so I am sure her record is now correct. Thanks for your quick reply. I appreciate
the effort you made to provide the information.
|gerald whitton||Catharine Zegafuse|
I believe that her grave stone was pulled from a pile of broken grave stones and put together with another
person stone. I know of no other Zegafuse that dau
of R, & A.R. exist. Michael Zegafuse was the first
Zegafuse in Miami County, Indiana. 1870 census does
not list Catharine. Catharine is listed as a child of Peter Zegafuse a son of Michael in the 1870 census
Her age is listed as one year of age. No other
Zegafuse families reside in Miami County other than
Michael's children. Catharine does not show up in the 1980 census. Michael Zegafuse her grandfather is also buried in the same cemetery. I would like to add her parents to her record. My mother was the daughter of Francis zegafuse who was born December 6,
1881 to Peter Zegafuse.

Thanks so very much for looking into it. Happy New Year!
|Charlotte Smith Muir||RE: Hello|
I am actually only related via marriage, Thomas and Susannah's grandson, Thomas Mortimer Helm (b. 1898) married my grandfather's sister, Grace Naomi Smith. Their son, Earl Robert Helm (b. 1919) is my 1st cousin, 1x removed.
|Charlotte Smith Muir||Hello|
I am noticing your name on many flowers of many of my family members..are you, by chance, related to the Helm family?
Just curious ~ Hope you're have a wonderful holiday season!
|Penny Harris||Hudkins family|
Just wanted to say thank you for all of the work you put into their memorials. I am not related, but as you may have figured out by now, I have Henry Hudkins Sr's memorial in West Virginia. I had no idea where the children went to since I couldn't find any except Eli in WV. So glad you found them. Still missing Thomas (1812-?), Susanna (1814-?), John C (1819-?), Rachael Bennett (1821-1872), Alpheus (1824-?), Jacob J (1827-?), Washington (1828-?), Mary (1832-?) and Eleanor (1834-?). I'm guessing they are in IN too.
Still not sure why Henry Sr's death record lists him as a widower.

Tom, I noticed that you added a virtual glower to Margaret's memorial.
I took gravestone photos yesterday at the Homewood Cemetery and took a photo of Margaret's gravestone as well as for her husband William and daughter Dorothy. I will be uploading those photos to their memorials later today. I will also ask Graves, the creator of the memorials, to link these family members.
If you are related to these people, feel free to write to Graves and ask him/her to transfer the memorials to you. This person freely does transfers, but you have to request each one by going to the memorial and clicking on EDIT in the upper right and then clicking on Other Suggestions.

Hi. I am related to the Campground Cemetery, Bond Co., Illinois Blizzards. I was wondering who in that cemetery you are related to asd I was unable to determine looking through the Blizzards you had listed from Indiana Cemetery. I would love for some to be transferred to me if you happen to not be related. My contributor # is 47767790. Thanks so much.

|JP Smith||RE: Harley Holaday|
You may be related to Inez Black 1890, who married Marcus Holaday? I have a Holaday Reunion picture I would like to send you and see if you can identify some of the folks I can't. You may send your email address to email@example.com and I will send you the picture. Hope you are well, JP in AZ.

Thanks Tom and I will make the attachment.
I have only one close relation buried in Old Hill Cemetery, Cadora Alice Hayes who died at 19 years old. I never knew my great grandfather had a sister. I have only visited Old Hill one time last spring and it was so overgrown it was hard to just walk around in the cemetery. A Find A Grave friend went with me and we both came home with more tics than photos. She had a list which was included in the list of individuals called Cemetery info I believe. It should still be there and that's the list I used to add the names. Why have a list like that and not make memorials form each person.
I would like to make another trip, a 200 mile round trip for me, some time this fall hopefully.
There are so many photos that need to be taken of the stones that still exist
I have to say I have no personal knowledge of the Blizzards. If you can add any info about them or others in the cemetery please do so.
I use Green Hills Pioneers a lot, but then seem to miss the little ones like Earl that died very young in life.
Thanks for your help.
