I'm looking after Elisabeth 'Betty' Jane BIART (and not Bear) (06/01/1921 Madison, Wisconsin) wife of Robert Louis Avery (07/10/1920, Jamesville, Wisconsin), married 26/07/1943 in Madison.

Thanks in advance

RE: Mills Headstones in Brighton Cemetery
Hi. I've seen pictures of there headstones a few years back so I'm sure there are still headstones. The pictures where very small and not very good either. I'm wondering if they are listed in the wrong cemetery. Are there two cemeteries with this name. Brighton Cemetery and I see a New Brighton Cemetery. On the Lorain county web site they show both these names with different locations. Below is what it says.
BRIGHTON CEMETERY (NEW), Brighton Twp., Lorain Co., OH
Located on the west side of SR 511, 1/4 mile south of SR 18.
This is where they are buried.

Old Brighton cmetery is at
Located at the southwest corner of Quarry and Jones Roads.
Which one did you check. Are there two with the same names. Thanks

Horton Graves
Ray - Thank you very much for the pictures of the Horton gravestones. It strikes me that the stones for Dennis, Nancy and Lydia look much newer than you would expect for the dates of their deaths. It's too bad you couldn't locate the others. I don't know if the memorials were created from an old transcription or from a cemetery visit. Are there many unreadable stones in this cemetery?

Thanks again,
