I hold a master's degree in education with a focus on integrating technology in the classroom. After my university studies, I was awarded an internship under Governor Jimmy Carter's intern program doing research on Nuclear Power Safety. I worked for the government for about 3 years.
I am disabled and after 19 years of service with a school district in Texas was required to retire. My passion was teaching high school social studies.
