Kerr memorials
Hi! Thanks for the updates to the Kerr memorials in Beechwoods cemetery. Wanted to see if you were in any way related to them? I'm notů just happened to photograph them one day when I was at the cemetery. I'd be happy to transfer them to your care if you are related! Just let me know! Blessings, Dana

RE: Gray's Cemetery - Fallsburg
Hi Patricia. I don't know anything about Potters field being adjacent to Gray's cemetery. However, I have heard about people from the County Home being buried in Grey's cemetery. There are many graves there marked with just a piece of flat stone. As far as there being a separate cemetery for Potters field, I'm not aware of that, but there could be.

Hi Patricia. Thanks for the info. Good luck with your search.
ps. I think if you delete my previous message (the one with the link), it will fix your profile page.

RE: Gray's Cemetery - Fallsburg
Hi Patricia. I honestly don't know if there is any record of burials at Gray's cemetery, but I suspect there isn't. I did try to photograph all legible gravestones at the cemetery, but there are plenty of graves there with no gravestone. Perhaps the Fallsburg town clerk could help you. If you find out that there is a record of burials, please let me know.
What is the family you are looking for anyway?

Request at Calvary Cemetery
In regards to your request at Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont, NY there are easily over 6,000 internments there. If you can call the cemetery and ask where the person is buried I will be happy to go back to that section and attempt to find the gravestone.

Michael & Anna McCue Ossining,NY
Dear Patricia,
Michael McCue of Ossining, NY was my 2x great grandfather. He married Anna O'Connor born abt 1840 on 2/2/1861 according to St Augustine's Church records- Ossining. Witnesses Luba ? McCue & Philip Garrigan.
Michael & Anna's family, their ages etc are well documented in the 1880 US Census- living in Sing Sing village, NY. Noted there they have 7 children listed as follows:
Mary born 1861, Michael b. 9/24/1862 (my great grandfather), John J b 11/1864, Elizabeth b 5/7/1868, Julia Marie b 5/7/1871 (m. Martin J. Deeley lived in Tarrytown, NY), Anna L b 9/12/1874,James Patrick b 9/24/1878. Ihave tracked several of the children using nothing on Anna. I need to know what County in Ireland Michael McCue came from to proceed. I have notes from old St Augustine's Cemetery Sect H- Plot 15on Michael, Anna, daughter Mary ? and an Edward McCue
and a Lizzie McCue. Keep in touch & Good luck Mary

I took that photo in 2009 -- I don't remember the location - have you tried to call the cemetery? I will try to look for Hughes next time I am there, probably next week or so.
