Bio and Links
I am Mavis Street Clemmer and I live in Ripley, MS. I have been doing genealogy since 1975. I joined Findagrave last February and I really enjoy adding names and dates. My pet peeve is to find a listing with only the years listed instead of the month, day and year. I was taught in childhood that if you do anything, do it right the first time or don't do it at all. I find that to be a very helpful rule.
I have worked on cemeteries in Tippah and Benton Counties, MS. adding a lot of family history to the people that are related to my family or to families that I personally know. From a genealogists point of view this is very important. They like to know as much information as possible when they find an ancestor.

Cossitt
Thank you for the updated information for Mr. Cossitt. His son was my best friend for many years, but we've lost touch, and I didn't know how to get the info on his dad.

Thanks for making the change. I have seen this
spelling and M'Kinza in researching my family. His children left the "c" in but some went with the "e" and some with the "i". We have a McKenzie/McKinzie
Reunion every 2 years in East Texas - coming up in June. Since Daniel, Sr. has this on his monument I thought that it should be that way on his memorial.
