I have been restoring old family photographs (the earliest from 1864) since about 2000. Because of that hobby, I got into genealogy so that I could better identify the individuals in the photographs I was restoring. Because of the work of a 2nd cousin of mine, I realized that the Find A Grave site offered an opportunity to publish some of the photographs I've restored and make public information I have researched about my ancestors. |
I am primarily interested in maintaining memorials for ancestors I am directly descended from. For other family member memorials I enter, where I am not the direct descendant, I am looking for direct descendants to maintain them.
I am pleased to reunite, and be reunited with, family members, and am willing to transfer memorial pages to descendants and collateral descendants who are more closely related than I am.
I hope that those who come across my work because of common ancestors, take the time to contact me.

Hi John -
Did you know Roy or his family personally? His daughter was my Mother In Law. I tried to contact you via your email but it was undeliverable. Please email me at LizMooreBirch@msn.com

Hello- I'm 99.9% sure there is no longer a visible marker. I am going back towards the end of the week and will check again.

Sorry, Lloyd doesn't have a marker. Only about 1 in 9 graves at Pioneers and Soldiers have markers, but they did keep very good records, and so it would be very easy to find where Lloyd was buried.
We have a website: www.friendsofthecemetery.org and we also have a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/#!/PioneersAndSoldiersCemetery
A lot of interesting information about the cemetery and the people who are buried there.

I'm not the one who created the site for the Calvary Cemetery just west of Kilkenny. However, I have added a few of the entries and photos. I did use Find-a-grave's mapping feature to list the latitude and longitude. They may differ a bit from the ones you listed. I'm sure that you can edit the data if it varies too much from yours.

Many thanks for the information. I shall start working this through.
Always happy to learn about Findagrave through other members.
|Ladygraver||RE: Le Center, Calvary Cemetery Location|
I added the GPS info you sent me. I didn't know how to do that so Thank You. Hadn't thought about getting GPS from Google Earth...thanks again.
It appears we have two cemetery listings for this cemetery. One is Calvary, Le Center and the one I listed as St. Mary's Calvary, Le Center. Which would you say should be the correct listing so we can ask Find A Grave to combine?
WE posted your pictures from Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Twin Falls today. We also added a Florence Hamby 1891 to 1947 she was buried next to James. I thought it would be a good idea. Hope it helped.
