|A A Avinger||RE: John R Dial|
Thanks for the rapid response! I wasn't expecting results that fast!
Clarification is needed!
NO, I am not related to the "Dial" family, directly, but my mother's sister was married to Boyd Shell Dial, son of Wister Dial and Mary Burdette. Their children are of course, my cousins, and having grown up knowing their "Dial" aunts, uncles, and grandparents, I was just extending my search another generation or so if possible.
Using "FindAGrave" and searching for Dials in the Spartanburg,SC area, expanded to Greenville County, and then statewide for Dials listed in Find A Grave. I had only had the name John Dial listed as their greatgrand parents for the longest time. But now I will contact my cousin in Spartanburg to let him in on what you have sent me. If you are interested, I can provide data from Wister down through Shell's family Thanks again, I will probably be getting in touch again, or possible my cousins will want to contact you!
My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org

You left message that if John "Richmond" Dial, he was possibly your Grandfather!
I was searching for a John Dial, born in 1854, death unknown, who was married to an Antionette "Anna" ???. They had at least 4 children; John D Dial- 1883, Wister D Dial- 1886, Estella B Dial- 1889, and Adolphus I Dial- 1895.
This John R Dial was born 4/9/1854, (the year fits, but I don't know if he is who I am searching for. Do any of the mentioned names fit into your family search? Please advise by e-mail (email@example.com)
Thanks in advance for your response!
