Greetings! I am active duty U.S. Coast Guard, 27+ years service (4 years U.S. Navy) originally from Macon, Georgia, stationed in New Orleans, Louisiana. I've always loved strolling through cemeteries looking at individual graves and wondering what kind of person lies resting at my feet. I can stroll cemetaries for hours without getting bored. I love Military History, specifically the Civil War, as my g-g-grandfathers fought for the Confederacy; however, I have a soft spot for ALL veterans and children. I have traced my lineage paternally to Ulster Scots emigrating from Ireland in the early 1700s, first to Pennsylvania then to North Carolina and eventually to Wilcox County, Georgia by the early 1800s. Maternally, I am second-generation Italian/Croatian. Those of you who leave flowers for any of my memorials or simply visit, I wish to thank you in advance. If I leave flowers for your loved one(s), no thanks is necessary, but if you feel the need to reply please do so. God bless us all.|

|SKP||Gene Polhemus Note & Flowers|
Although I apreciate each and every note and flower people leave on the memorials I've created, I usually don't thank those who leave them. Maybe I'll start doing that with you. My dad, Gene Polhemus, Memorial #116065638, would like being referred to as "a man's man." I'd never really thought of it, but I guess he was. Thanks for recognizing it and stating it in your note!

Hi, sorry about the glitch with my webform, I saw the error log but I'm still trying to figure out what went haywire. You can contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll set you up with a username and password. I have little information on the McCalls but I have a good bit on your grandmother's lines - Newman, Scaff, etc. I met (great) Aunt Alice years ago when I was visiting my parents in Abbeville (they lived there for about 10 years after my dad retired from the USAF) and I know my parents loved her very much.

Hi there, sorry it has taken me several days to get back with you. Sorry I am not your friend Teresa Bean.
Even though I grew up in Macon, I never met anyone else with the last name Bean.How interesting. All my Bean's are in New England. Dianne

Sorry I did not know her. The body was cremated and obituary did not give location of ashes. Her mother was buried in Broadlawn Cemetery Hall County, GA. Hope this information helps. Sincerely, Wesley Martin
