Sage Cemetery
I was at the Sage Chapel Cemetery today and when I came home noticed how much work you had done on Find a Grave for the cemetery there. I am learning a bit more of the history as well for that cemetery and chapel. God Bless you, Paula

Display at O'Fallon City Hall
Hi Mary,

I saw your display at the City Hall, It was just wonderful, I loved it, you did a fantastic job. Arlene White was a dear friend of mine. Their family are the sweetest people.

I would have loved to have been able to look through the book more. I was able to read some of it, have you ever thought about putting a copy in the O'Fallon Library?

Thank you for all the great work you do for FindAGrave, and Sage Cemetery.

RE: Susan Branwhite in Fernwood Cemetery
Hello Mary, the memorials have been transferred to you. Thank you for sharing your story with me. I'm glad I was able to help you find out something about your family members, especially your 3X great grandmother!

Susan Branwhite in Fernwood Cemetery
Hello, you have a photo request for Robert Branwhite, which I have claimed. Could you also add a photo request for Susan Branwhite so I can claim it?
Thanks, Sid

The Foristell Cemetery
Well, Mary, I've been cleaning up records for Smith Methodist, including listing memorials that are only in the book and that I didn't find there. Thank you for transferring the memorials to me. Together we've about got it done. Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!

Emil Kinst information
Hi Mary,
I have Emil Kinst b. 31 Mar 1853 in Antwerp, Belgium, France who died 20 Nov 1934 at Norwood Park, Cook Co. IL. His death index (Illinois) states that he was 81 years old, so it should be that he was born in 1853. However, because of the fact that all other resourse state it was 1850 I have put down an alternate date of 31 Mar 1850 in my personal files for this person. You don't happen to know when Catherine Finnegan was born do you? Emil's family is related to the Thomas Joseph Martin family because Thomas married Emil's older sister, and he was enumerated with them in one of the census "Chicago, Cook Co. IL". I have found that Emil's family of Kinst are buried at St. Boniface Cemetery, Chicago, Cook Co. IL and is not far from where Thomas and Catharine lived at that time, two of their children are also buried there at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
However, Mary is not the name of Emil's mother because on the passenger list for this family it names her as Jeanette and his father is Louis Kinst. Louis's real name is Jean Louis Kinst and I haven't found the maiden name of his wife's yet but do not think that it is Mary unless that is her middle name? Hum, let me know what you think alright?

RE: Kinst
Yes, I know about Emile and Catherine Finnegan-Kinst as they were married on 22 Feb 1873 in Chicago, Cook Co. IL per the marriage records of that state. I did not know that they had split their residency between Chicago, IL and Wisconsin though. I know that Catherine was born in Wisconsin but didn't know that they were going back and forth so much. I do know that Catherine's father was Edward Finnegan and her mother Catherine Connelly, but however, that is about all I have on them at this point. How are you so sure that they didn't have any children? I know that from what is on findagrave when Catherine Finnegan-Kinst died but have no idea when Emile died. Will have to go looking for that information I guess. Thanks!
Have a great day!
